Maguire and Company was founded in 1988, and specializes in student accommodation, other university buildings and church design. The firm has worked on large-scale projects such as the al-Gassim campus of King Saud University in Saudia Arabia, and small-scale conversions such as that of the Old Congregation House at Oxford, the oldest university building in England. Maguire’s first enterprise, St Paul’s church, London E3, is now a Grade II* listed building. The company sees its work in terms of craft as well as high art, and has skills in the fields of urban design, landscape, product design and graphics.
